  What kind of JW response do you think I'll get?

  in my moms last letter she stated that me, my sister and her should all just "move on" meaning put our hurts and anger behind us and work towards having better relationships.

  however, in the same letter she clarified that disfellowshipping is "discipline" and she intends to continue shunning me.

  so i wrote back asking her what "moving on" means for her.

  You misunderstand me.I hate the Disfellowshipping/dissassociation rule.For 99% of perceived offences it is cruel and Heartless(as in your case,please believe me you have my support!)True,i have never experienced it,i was just commenting how if that rule was used for Adultery,that is the only time i never had a problem with it.Innocent,hurt parties shouldnt suffer alone.

  The crux of the Letter seemed to me to be the shunning rule and i merely commented that many seem to just jump on the Jw bashing programme without knowing the whole story.

  in england about 5/6 years ago a directive kicked in that you were not allowed to put anything on your hard hat at the qb...apparently bro,s were putting all kinds of details down to ,er,attract the opposite sex....ms,rp etc!there were some desperate people out there...... any other crazy "hilarious"antics you remember at qb,s?

  I also remember a old Boy who had his first taste of Authority on a QB i went on.He was in charge of,wait for it...,checking the steel toe caps were in order!This officious little Nazi used to go around ,tap you on the shoulder,then..bam,he would stamp on your Foot!

  Dunno how he didnt get his Ass kicked!

  Ok im confused.you were d,fed for Adultery right? If so,why is everyone condemning the D,fed action! If ive got it wrong i apologize.I actually agree with disfellowshipping if People are personally hurt bad in what ever way.But not for consensual relationships between 2 free parties.

  Ive noticed this before,everyone is so quick to condemn the Jw,s they forget any innocent,hurt parties.

  Not certain why you think the article is standard stuff?A 99 Year old Man telling his experiences from a Nazi death camp,nearly executed twice?

  Sounds to me as though the Audience thoroughly respected this Man . Jw or not,he lived his faith and has my utmost respect.

  WT WARNING EXAMPLES: Anybody see this video?

  warning examples for our times was a wt release video that came out a couple of years ago.

  at the times i was given it to watch so i could know the seriousness of my daughter marrying an unbeliever (any of you who have heard my story know she had never become a believer herself, so technically was an unbeliever too, thus not qualified to marry a believer either, but made guilty by association with the jws--catch 22 situation).

  anyway, the video horrified me at the time.

  One of them brought the pagan woman back into their tent and the high priest drove a tent peg through their groins (so there was of screaming and such)

  It was actually a Spear..(sorry ,pedantic today) but still,this is not suitable stuff for Children.!
